Qualification:
Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
Desired: M-Tech Degree

Experience:
25+ years of static equipment engineering, maintenance or design experience with minimum 10 years of experience in Senior leadership roles in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry in Engineering, Project, Operations & Maintenance, Commercial.

Accountability:

1. Responsible for Static Equipment Asset Integrity Management, Engineering Governance, Project Support and Lifecycle Management of static assets.
2. Ensure the engineering, reliability and long-term integrity of static equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, tanks, piping and furnaces across operations.
3. Engineering, Design and Optimization: Designing new systems and improving existing static equipment performance to enhance safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. This includes conducting technical studies, fitness-for-service assessments and proposing innovative engineering solutions.

Skills:

1. Extensive experience in engineering, inspection, maintenance and lifecycle management of static equipment in refineries and petrochemical plants; strong understanding of material selection, corrosion mechanisms and damage prevention.
2. Proficient in asset integrity programs including RBI, RLA, FFS assessments, corrosion management, and statutory compliance as per applicable codes and standards (ASME, API)
3. Skilled in root cause analysis (RCA), failure investigations, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to enhance equipment reliability and operational safety.
