Qualifications
Essential: Accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent is required along with internationally recognized safety accreditation

Experience:

  1. 25+ years of project/construction-related HSE experience, including international project experience, Oil and Gas projects exceeding $5 billion USD. Including 10+ years in HSE leadership role for a large EPC petrochemical / refinery project.

Accountability:

  1. Develops RPMG’s HSE standards, standard operating procedures & goals.
  2. Setup guidelines for preparation of various critical reports such as Incident Report, Audit Reports and governance framework for uniform implementation of safety policies across sites.
  3. Leads teams of HSE professionals, including globally diverse teams when involved in projects.
  4. Manages the overall direction and coordination of the HSE function on projects by identifying and approving HSE project plans, and their effect on contractual agreements, schedules, activities, and milestones to ensure a balance between productivity and the safety of project staff and visitors in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  5. Provides mentoring/people development for direct reports to identify young managers to be groomed for future leadership roles.
  6. Provides technical guidance to direct reports through interpretation of Company HSE practices and procedures in relation to current legislation and regulations; plans and develops HSE programs concerned with unique or project-specific issues.
  7. Oversees the execution of HSE training, programs, and processes
  8. Oversees the implementation of HSE departmental functions in regard to auditing, training, incident investigation, software, tools, RPMG’s HSE policies, procedures, and methods designed to drive the Company’s HSE culture and meet the Company’s HSE standards and goals.
  9. Provides oversight of technical HSE quality of projects and sites through interpretation of Company HSE practices and procedures in relation to current regulations.
