Marcel holds an Honours Degree in Economics from St Stephen’s College Delhi and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad .

 

He has worked in some of the world’s best organizations like Voltas, ITC, Coromandel Fertilisers Oberoi Hotels, Xerox, Royal Dutch /Shell Group, SAP and as President-HR  of   The Raymond Group. He has added significant value to the organizations he has worked for, in all arenas of Human Resources.

 

With his high energy levels, he launched his second career and Chaired the Board of IKYA Human Capital Solutions Ltd till 2013. This Company reached a turnover of a Bn $ in just 9 years from inception. IKYA was rebranded as Quess Corp and went public in 2016 with their IPO being oversubscribed 147 times!. Quess is now a part    of The  Fairfax Group of Canada and  India’s largest private sector employer.

Marcel is proud to have served as an Independent Director on the Board and is now Chief Mentor of the Quess Group.

 

He has served on   the Advisory Board for India for the Simon School of Business, University of Rochester and ISBM Pune. He is actively involved in giving back to the profession and has served as Regional President for the National HRD Network and a Member of the National  Board. He was conferred the President’s Award for serving the HR community. Associated with the Employers Federation of India and CII and in  varied educational initiatives for increasing employability and skills  Marcel  serves as a  Member of the Advisory Board for India & South Asia for SHRM- Society for Human Resource Management. He is a reputed  ICF Certified executive leadership Coach and HR Consultant /Advisor and Mentor across organizational levels
