Qualification
Essential: Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
Desired: Master’s, Water Management / Utilities / Sustainability certifications

Experience:

1. 20–25+ years of experience managing utilities and water systems within large process industries.
2. Experience leading utilities (steam, water, air, nitrogen) operations.

Accountability:

1. Lead safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operations of water & utility systems across sites.
2. Ensure availability and optimisation of utilities including steam, water, compressed air, nitrogen and effluent treatment.
3. Drive efficiency improvements, asset reliability, and sustainability initiatives.
4. Oversee statutory compliance, audits, shutdown planning and long-term asset strategies.
5. Lead cross-functional teams for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Skills:

1. In-depth knowledge of utility systems, water treatment technologies, ZLD and environmental systems.
2. Expertise in O&M, root cause analysis, reliability engineering, and statutory compliances.
3. Strong understanding of asset optimisation, safety, and environmental regulations.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies and digital operations.
