Level: Senior Level Leadership (Vice President / Executive Vice President Level)

Qualification: Essential: Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, Desired: Master’s degree, Degree in Business / Mktg.

Experience:

1. 25+ years in PTA manufacturing with experience in Projects, Operations or Site Head
2. 10–15 years in Cluster Head / Site Head / Operations Head role, heading large-scale PTA plants or integrated polyester intermediates operations.

Accountability:

1. Drive operational excellence across PTA manufacturing sites by strengthening safety culture, maximizing profitability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
2. Support RPMG in PTA capacity expansion and debottlenecking projects through technical expertise, process optimization insights, and guidance on implementation strategies.
3. Benchmark key operational parameters—such as productivity, conversion cost, energy efficiency, and quality—against global best-in-class PTA plants to identify and close performance gaps.
4. Drive minor capital and improvement projects to ensure faster execution, cost optimization and effective realization of ROI
5. Partner with RTG, site teams, and SMEs to co-develop and standardize processes ensuring institutionalization of best practices.

Skills:

1. Strong understanding of PTA process technologies, oxidation, purification, catalyst systems, and utilities integration.
2. Demonstrated strength in project leadership, plant commissioning, and sound understanding of regulatory, environmental compliance, and market trends.
3. P&L responsibility with business and marketing experience desired.
