Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework and policies to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks across the organization.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify emerging risks, vulnerabilities, and potential gaps in existing risk management practices.
• Oversee the design and implementation of risk control measures, including internal controls, risk mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
• Provide expert guidance and support to various business units, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, laws, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to establish risk appetite and tolerance levels, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Managing relationship with external stakeholders including regulators, auditors and risk management consultants, ensuring compliance and addressing any concerns.
• Develop and maintain key risk indicators (KRIs) and risk reporting mechanisms, providing timely and accurate risk assessments to senior management and the board of directors.
• Foster a strong risk management culture throughout the organization by promoting awareness, training, and communication programs.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes to proactively adapt risk management strategies and policies as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and evaluate new products, services, and initiatives from a risk perspective.
• Experience working with Fintech/ NBFC/ Banks/Financial Institutions.
• Proven experience (18+ years) in risk management, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry, with a focus on operational risk, credit risk, compliance risk, or similar areas.
• Strong knowledge of fintech products, services, and technologies, as well as the regulatory landscape governing the industry.
• Experience in Product and Credit Policy formulation, Collections and Recovery, Fraud and Operational Risks
